MONDAY - Intro to Clay

Service Description

This class is ideal for anyone wanting to have a go at hand-building and wheel throwing. A great introduction to the wonderful world of ceramics. In this class you will learn some basic hand-building techniques and experience throwing on the wheel. This service includes 2KG of clay and you can choose 2 of your handmade creations to keep. Bisque firing and glaze firings are also included, and you can choose up to 2 colours for your creations. Whatever you make in the Intro to Clay class will be glazed by one of our expert tutors and will be ready for you to pick up approximately 3 weeks later. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for any cracks, breakages or glazing defects. However, the best possible care will be taken when handling, firing and glazing your pieces. Additional clay may be purchased in the studio if you would like to make anything over 2KG. These pieces will be weighed and charged accordingly. - What else do I bring? * Clothes you don't mind getting wet or dirty. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Window: Clients may cancel or reschedule their booked class up to 48 hours prior to the scheduled class time. Late Cancellation: If a cancellation or change is made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class time, the client will be charged the full price of the class. This policy helps us manage our schedule and accommodate other clients. No-Shows: Clients who do not show up for their scheduled class without prior cancellation will also be charged the full price of the class. Refunds: For cancellations made within the specified 48-hour window, clients will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule for another class. Exceptional Circumstances: We understand that unforeseen circumstances can occur. In cases of illness or emergency, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss options. Decisions on exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
